To manage this congestion in the air efficiently, GCC Aviation Authorities are collaborating on looking at new innovative approaches in order to find effective solutions by leveraging modern Technologies and the latest innovations in the field of aviation. It is highly expected that GCC countries will succeed to overcome this challenge thus bringing in an increasing number of opportunities for the local and regional civil aviation landscape. The GCC Aviation Authorities have always promoted regional and global collaboration through effective partnerships with regional and international organizations so as to achieve the best results.
The region is witnessing rapid traffic growth that necessitates immediate attention and commitment to ensure safe and efficient traffic operations. As a result, various projects have been launched to enhance land, sea and air traffic capacity covering the roads’, ports’ and airports’ infrastructure. These projects emphasize the crucial role that transportation plays in the economic growth of the Gulf Region. It is worth pointing out that the transportation authorities in the Middle East need to adopt the principles of partnership and teamwork between various regional countries in order to capture upcoming promising opportunities in the various types of the transportation industry and widen traffic movement between these countries, which would reflect with substantial benefits on their national economies.
