The world’s food supply is in a state of dynamic change and is at risk today. The pandemic, climatic change incident, fluctuating prices of oil and gas —and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, one of the significant suppliers of wheat, might be taking the whole world into a major food disaster.
Disruption always impacts supply and demand, including prices. Over 50 million people will be affected in countries that rely heavily on imports, particularly from countries such as Ukraine and Russia. With external factors outside our control, such as the climate change impact and the war in Ukraine, we firmly believe that the global landscape of food-producing regions will change. Food instability can cause social instability.
